A selection of my works from this semester that highlight my writing style, creativity, and ability to convey ideas effectively.
This is a personal reflection of Jasmine Ward's "Cracking the Code". The goal is to summarize and interact with the text critically, offering new insights or perspectives beyond the surface meaning. This project helped me to critically engage with the text, form and articulate original responses, and connect my personal experiences to another piece of literature.
A collection of research sources that includes brief descriptions, evaluations, and explanations of how each source will be used, as a part of the research project conducted below. I learned to scope out relevance of existing research my topic, discover different perspectives, and better understand how each source can support and shape my project.
Research to link the effects of Hip Hop to the self perception of Black girls, an argumentative essay that makes a unique claim supported by credible sources. Through this assisnment, I learned to form my own research question for a topic of interest to me, create and defend an original argument and demonstrate its significance.
